depends on how far you want your mods to go...no need for a 3" if you keep a stock header and dont pulley down at all

you can do this, its cheap and a good upgrade for what you are trying to do:
badmap header, zzp 3" catless down pipe with a 2.5 exit.

whats that cost roughly? about 300 something dollars all together?

how were the gains and ect. i heard with the header it opens the car up a lot @ higher speeds. but if the gains are minimal with the header i just want to buy the DP.

Well I have a fllowmaster muffler from the PO and it was super raspy at like 3.5k, and now it isn't raspy until like 6k.. which is my favorite thing about it b/c i had to shift so early in every gear.. As for gains, I'm not totally sure. I don't notice much horsepower wise, but my stock DP was clogged, so now I make boost A LOT faster. It is not any louder then my stock one either, which was also a big plus.

Hope this helps.

Oh and some tips before you start installing a new one..... Get some wd40 and cake the **** out of ALL the bolts and studs, and you might as well go to the hardware store and spend about $10-$15 on new hardware.

I think I've decided to buy the h/dp combo from zzp. But I need the rear O2 bung. If I have the extra bung added for a wideband can I stick my O2 and it and avoid a CEL? Or will it even reach? Thanks.

3" downpipe for the LSJ is best if you are going aftermarket. 2.5" is smaller than the stock downpipe. Purchase a 3" ZZP downpipe with bolt in 2.5" option. This way it will bolt up to the stock or aftermarket 2.5" catback.

I have a catted down pipe and a header for sale in the classified section. It is a vibrant header and down pipe with a summit high flow cat. Sounded great on my car. Pm me and we can work out a deal.

If not I do know zzp makes good products and they also sound good too
