Who Else Makes Rods For The Ss/sc?

Crower has given me the worst news ever today! I ordered my rods from CPP like two weeks ago. figures that Crower sells out a day before my order gets placed. Its supposed to take them 8-10 weeks to get some made and to ship them out! I can not wait that long! I need rods asap!

To the OP all I can suggest is have the factory rods, prepped, maybe cryo-ed, and upgraded stud fasteners installed until the Oli's are available.

Why not just re-use the stock rods with ARP rod bolts . The Forged I-beam rods in the LSJ shortblock are rather stout to begin with . Unless you plan on going over 500 hp , youd basically be wasting your money imo on aftermarket rods .

I totally agree ....I didnt mean what I said in that respect . For what he's doing , I wouldnt feel compromised using the stock rods with ARP bolts . Thats all I was sayin .

Wow those look great!
Obviously the JBP rods are either made by Pauter or they are damn good lookin "knock offs"
Either way $200per is not a bad price for 4340 billet rods
Especially if it includes decent fasteners

Besides a few of the Oliver proto-types floating around those would look to be your best bet at this time!
