There is no set answer. The tune will have alot to say about the limit. There are guys that have run 300-400 whp and been fine, and then there are guys whose #4 piston went at 250whp.

With a 2.5 heat will be the killer, but you know that. You seem to have the right cooling mods. Good luck.

The limits of most parts depend on two things the user and the tuner. If you constantly beat on your car you could have problems, if your tune is off you will have problems.

That being said people have an over 400 whp on stock internals. My car spent the majority of its time on the 2.5" ring and the mods you have listed plus some.

i have herd of 400+ as well on stock internals but i wouldnt hessitate to tell those ppl they are out of their minds. its all about how safe you want to be. if you plan on pushing 400+ whp i would replace EVERYTHING because you already have it torn apart, in my opinion if your not going to do it right then its not worth doing at all... as for axles you can get away with about 300 give or take but if you get a set of stickies you shear them for sure. ppl have broken them with less...

i agree if you start cutting corners or half assing stuff thats what will kill you. thats why im in the boat im in. i rushed to put mine back together and i ended up shearing a rod bolt because i overtorqued them.

440whp 400wtq. original stock motor, 44,000 miles, beat on it every time I take it out.
was at 296whp on a 2.55 pulley and all bolt ons for over a year with about 100 track passes, have about 200 highway pulls on this turbo setup, and maybe 30 track passes on this turbo setup (all easy launch though for tuning purposes).

^^IDK about that, I have no idea what I'm doing and it's working alright for me.

But in all honesty, the motors can handle quite a thrashing for stock units. My car has been beat up since new and it has had some horrible setups on it back in the day. I would say with any sort of safe tune 300- 325WHP is definitely within it's bounds. After that you have to be a bit more careful with what you do.

yup yup. you can break your axles with stock power if you dont drive it right. and as for dropping down to pulley size and being safe...anything below a 2.8incher is over spinning the blower. Thats what Eaton said themselves...

I think some of your definitions of a "stock" motor are also not correct. Adding valve springs or changing cams does not mean your running a "stock" motor its internally modified.
