It should be the pink/red one. There are 2 wires that carry current, one is one when the car is on and the other is set with the headlights. The pink wire shares the side with the other one that has power to it.

I bought the interceptor and spliced it into that pink wire and it works fine EXCEPT the only thing i want to see...KNOCK...WONT WORK!! WTF!!! should I splice into another 12V is that why im not seeing it on my gauge?? it doesnt even have an option for it on the gauge...while it says it on the box

**note...not the cobalt SS editon, but says in directions and on box that it should record knock...so everyone

WHICH WIRE DID YOU USE??

You need to contact Aeroforce about that one. I see it on mine. There are 2 wires that go to the 'old' boost gauge that have power. One - the pink one, has power when the car is on. Two - the grey one, has power when the lights are on. I tested it out with a circuit tester. You can use another wire, just run the 'red' wire to the fuse box. Its much easier to 'add a circuit' to the wire which you know has power.
If your gauge works you've hooked it up correctly. If you don't have a certain option and the gauge works, its not going to matter where you get power from, its the gauge. Contact Aeroforce and tell them you have an issue.

just my .02 cents

I used a tap into the interior fuse box for the power supply, and I believe mine reads knock..

Also, how do you guys have it mounted in there? Mine is just sitting in the hole, it doesn't seem to mount like the stock one...

Why? The side air bag is in the headliner not the A pillar.

Ill give my idea away but here i what i was thinking..

Getting a 2 gauge universal pod from (anywhere)..autozone advance auto etc. then molding it onto a side curtain airbag a pillar (non ss) and painting it then BAM! gauge pods!

Yeah I'm not getting this at all LOL. I tap the red wire from the aeroforce gauge into the pink wire on the harness for the stock gauge? Where/how the heck do I route this thing so wires aren't popping out all over the place?

Ok, run the cable for the OBD-II port up through the dash, so that the connector to the guage is where the stock boost guage harness is.

You have to go to autozone, pepboys etc. to get a fuse tap made by Littel....

Once you have your fuse tap, run the red wire from the OBD-II connector to the passenger side fuse box, I ran the wire under the dash to hide it away...

Use the fuse tap and figure out an accessory that is on only when the car is on, I used the sunroof fuse, now place the fuse tap in the space of the accessory. Put the accessories fuse that you are tapping in the empty fuse bank, there will be 2 fuse banks on the fuse tap one for the original accessory so you still can use it and one for the guage.

Soldier or splice the red wire to the wire on the fuse tap..

Plug the OBD-II connector to the OBD-II port.

Turn the ignition to the On position and there you go your guage should light up, if not go back and check your connections....

Hope this helps...

So if you do that... and the side airbags deploy... you get hit with the pod... or maybe the pod will block the bag from opening properly... it'd be like glueing something to your steering wheel...

it's best not to mess with the airbags....

The worst thing that could happen...is getting hit with a nice pod to the face Think about it, if you buy a new a pillar that has the side air bag option it is going to deploy just like the SS/SC one would, so if you glue a pod, or a pencil to your a-pillar its not going to make a differnce

got mine working and routed, frkn sweet device. I'm measuring 15.6 psi near redline on the inlet supercharger pressure vs around 13.5psi on the stock gauge...I found that interesting.

I'll be purchasing this gage come monday. Where do i find this OBD-II connector? I understand picking up a power source from the fuse box, and routing it neatly over to the gage pod. But what else is needed to be done? Trying to peice it together so i know what to do when i get it.
