Wierd Supercharger Noise?

Ljavy17 and I both have a wierd supercharger noise coming from our blowers. Ljavy17's blower makes the noise only before it's warmed up then everything is fine. Mine made a wierd noise when i was boosting zero kinda of like a buzzing noise. ANy of you guys have an idea of what it could be?

No they dont. So put you stock pully back on befor you take the car and strip any and all mods off the thing first. They look for any reason they can to charge you for crap they should be covering.

it's normal, especially if you live where it's really cold and run it after only warming it up for 5 mins....mine has had that noise since last winter and its the same this winter, only when its really freezing so it's nothing major. The dealership checked out my car last year too just to make sure it wasn't anything major and they said it's not and it's normal, most cobalts in the cold will make that noise once it runs after not properly warmed up.

Mine is more aggressive than that, its that grinding noise plus some sqeeking, if you rev it up it wwill stop, on;y does it at idle, doesnt do it all the time at idle, every minute or so, i think the bearings need grease.

Under warranty everytime i would open the hood it sounded like rocks in a tumbler and when i was around other ss/sc's and theres was quiet. well took it in and first time they replaced the sc then it was doing it again and i went back and they repalced the sc again. well the damn thing was still making a noise the guy said he would take it home and monitor it well we came to the conclusion its the bearings so we replaced the bearing set. unfortuinatly its still making the noise............. so im goig to take it back and see if its something else? maybe in the engine or somehting else. ill have to bring it in when i get back from texas

there is apperently a different bearing set between the 05 and o6 to the 07 does anyone know if the tvs is being used by chevy yet?

I just started with another noise today. When its cold it makes a noise then it goes away. and today, now when I drive it hard it makes a low noise like metal hitting metal. Only does it under full boost though. Is it time to rebuild yet.
