I picked up a cotton gauze conical filter so I can do the Airbox mod. It seems to have some sort of air straightener in it. I just want to know if there's any chance it could damage the supercharger...it seems solid enough, but I'd rather not take a chance it will become dislodged due to boost. What do you think?

 

Considering that filter will never see boost, as its up stream from the blower you will be fine.

But that stupid airfoil isn't gonna help make more power.

I understand that the stupid airfoil won't make power....It just came with it. I was worried that the added suction from the sc would at some point loosen/dislodge the stupid airfoil, then the sc would end up eating it. That was my concern. So, is it ok to use it? Thanks for the quick reply.

I understand that....I just didn't know it had one on it....i'll just exchange it for a different one with out the stupid yellow POS.
