Will I kill the trans axle?

I want to buy that exedy clutch, you know the purple one... I really hate the stock clutch but I figure why the stock one slipped so bad was to prevent wear on the trans and the axles. I really dont want to grenade the tranny and definitely dont want to snap an axle.

My mods are in vbgarage the only hp mod I plan do from here on is an intake. So... I dont think I would really overwhelm the drivetrain but, never thought the stock clutch would have a hard time keepin up when the car was stock.

I guess my second question is besides exedy and spec, who else makes clutches for us, I couldnt find anyone else.

also... how far does GM warrant the clutch? I figure I might try to get them to replace it before I buy the exedy...

Im worried about tearing the transmission, there's a reason why the stock clutch slips so bad, I think it's to protect the soft nuget filled transmission...
