it will rise again
it will rise again
she will live again

All in all not too bad, cylinder head and everything but the block and rings on #1 made it through in good shape.
Sleeved block and more craziness coming soon

lol, waiting on my obama home buying check to get here, pay off some bills, and rebuild this thing. Probably be down for about 2 months give or take as I"ll be playing with my gt3582r 93 rx-7 for the time being. but shee will be back with a few additions, namely darton sleeves, billet oil pump gears, and maybe bigger cams. 550whp will be acheived at some point. The car was an absolute monster on 21psi the day it blew, scared the crap out of a buddy of mine leaving 40 roll burnouts for about a 1/2 mile. 23 psi was nuts, 27 was crazy until I went to shift to 4th and there was nothing but smoke.
Glad to hear Paul. Let me know where you pick up your sleeves cause I'm still looking for a better deal than what I have found so far. I just need the sleeves and some money for the machine shop and mine will be back up...
So is the RX running?

Rx is on hold til next week, turbo doesnt' ship til monday, damn gun drilled compressor housing lol.
I'm waiting on 3 quotes to come back in on the sleeves, have a guy not too far from me that originally built my motor, great price on that, hoping a good price on the sleeves.

I"m anxiously awaiting some quotes to come back to me. Need to know how much cashola I'll have to drop. I can't wait to get this ****** back together again. I might be going with a slightly bigger turbo setup also, but we shall see how the money situation works out
very unfortunate but as i stated before this was a timebomb. you laughed at me when i said to sleeve it the first time...
i picked up my dartons for 5hundo and got the machinework done for about 6. and 40 i believe to press each sleeve. its quite a cool process. they heat the block to expand it and they cool the sleeves to pull the molecules tighter in essence shrinking them. it all gets loaded into a press and it stays there for x amount of time until the block shrinks down and the sleeves expand back out. once that process is done the bock is decked and your ready to mate the head. its a really cool process. best of luck paul.
