Worth it to get a tune?

I have the stage 2 kit with reflash also I have gmpp exhuast, CAI and a highflow cat. The car runs great, is it worth the money to get it tuned?

you do not need a tune since you have a stage 2 tune. you should tune it only if you upgrade injectors/pulley down/TVS, etc. You'll be fine

Deffinatly wrong..

youll be able to free up about 10-20 hp with a tune...

I wouldnt spend any more than 150-250 on a tune (thats including the $100 worth for hptuner credits)..

but youll be able to get some hp.. remove torque management.. maybe up your rev limit, limit boost in 1st (2nd gear in hptuners does all other gears as well)... and lean the car out a bit...

yes, it could help a little. that's if he doesn't care about warranty. otherwise, i think it is not worth it if there are no upgrades involved

gm stage 2 is a very rich tune, they do that to protect there butt so you dont blow up your motor. you would gain a good 15 hp, the question is, is that good enough for you?

It is worth it! Spend $50 more and get a 2.9" from smoothflow, then tune. I have almost the same mods you do, and I saw a +21whp and +15 wtq gain at peak
