this is louder then you think YouTube - Trouble in little china with the cobalt
you will melt your cat regardless if its a high-flow cat or not. been there and done that lol. there is a video of mine doing it floating around here or go on youtube and look for the user webkevin123 youll see mine doing it in at least 3 video's... idk wat to tell ya about ur car cutting out around 5k... check all your connections make sure the sodder is perfect and your ground is nice and tight... that should of eliminated the problem PERFECTLY
Here is a shot of my Settings. Will have to look at how to program it manually.
yea i have never used the software at all i have no clue how to even use it. the only time i would ever use it is for the window switch and yea i def dont use bottles. idk what to tell ya. if i were u just hold the clutch in, set set the two-step manually to 9k rpm and have at it. that being said whens the last time u changed ur plugs. maybe ur having a misfire since the NLS is being used it does wear out the plugs quicker. thats my only other suggestion dood
how-to pop flames: in neutral rolling or at a stop, vehicle must be at operating temp. blip the throttle to WOT almost at the same time as u blip the throttle to WOT follow up with hitting the clutch all the way in and releasing the clutch almost immediatley. the clutch must be hit AFTER the gas pedal is hit to WOT but nearly at the same time and release both. the process should take 1-2 seconds max so thats how quickly it has to be done. it took me a good day to get it down. you can also shoot flames when shifting. anything above 4500rpm it will shoot one. just go WOT engage the clutch white doing the NLS but instead of releasing the clutch just hold it in while still at WOT for an extra second, release the clutch and gas almost immediatley after and BANG!!
This happened yesterday when i was sitting at the light. Loud as hell iphone4 really dont dont do it justice.

lolll i love the little laugh haha. the first time i did it i was at a redlight and some indians in a toyota were behind me... i burnt there bumper, i got out when it hapenned like yo im sorry! i didnt kno it would do that! i think they thought i was a suicide bomber
Think i am going to set it back to factory and manually set the box and see what happens.
Setting it to 10k definately changed the amount of times it would cut out in my mid range but up top around 5k is where my issue is.

Its definately a WOTBox Issue. I turned off the 2step completely and it pretty much went away. NLS works perfect with this turned off. Turned it on again and it cuts out between 2-4k.
When are they gonna release the GM3 Option for us.

that sucks man. idk what to tell ya anymore. hit up N2MB see if they can replace it.
Have still not been able to get a hold of anyone and even contacted the vendor though here with no response. Its has to be the unit itself. MFG Test steps show that the box is functioning and it blinks correctly according to them
Like i stated before both features do work. I can launch with the 2step and the nls feature is really smooth. The problem is that during wot in any gear the box will starts flashing rapidly and make the car experience what feels like fuel cut. When i turned off the 2 step it was better for a day or so and then back to the same thing. If i turn the box off the car pulls fine.
Anyone got any ideas. Would love to launch on the box with my slicks but can utilize it after launching.

the only thing I noticed when I installed my wot box was right before I would shift normally and if I had my foor just slightly resting on the clutch it would engage the wot box and thro my car into 2 step mod. so now i just make sure my foot is no where near the clutch until I shift.
I have tried to shoot flames on the 2 step and nothing yet.
I need to practice to see if I can shoot flames. I know one time I was driving went to shift and bang a loud backfire. so I bet I shot a flame but I have no clue bc nobody saw it.

To the OP,
Shouldn't the 2step only engage when the clutch is first pushed in then the gas?
Sounds like an issue with the clutch signal and the rpm signal, box is probably fucked.

Yeah wish the vendor would get back to me on this. Made 1 phone call and left a message, sent one email and also sent one pm on here. No response.
Sounds like the setting for the clutch pedal being inverted was set. 2step if properly setup can only engage if the clutch is to the ground.
Can't you use the toggle in the software to switch that then?
Also, I'm not sure if this applies to the deltas, but I know on a Ecotec J-Body, the RPM referance from the ICM will only pick up 2 of the cylinders.
So if you rev your car till 8000rpm, the referance signal would only read 4000rpm....I know that isn't exactly what your problem is....since it seems almost as if its doubling your tach signal, not halfing it....but its the only thing I can think of in terms of the RPM signal issue.
