wouldnt it make sense to you guys that to switch a whole le5 motor into a ss/sc, or even a whole lsj into a 2.4 ss, that youd have to put a different pcm in? you couldnt recalibrate the equipment on the car to run that motor, could you?

i think the LE5 uses the E67 ECU and the LSJ uses the P12

if you mean, rewrite a tune, i dont think you can. to do this, would be not only impractical, but for a very advanced tune writer.

or if you mean, put in the right ECU, yes.

I think it would make sence to use the 2.4 block in the SS/SC for more displacement, just use the LSJ head on it and have a custom flywheel made up.
