Any of you in Central Florida need a tune, shoot me a PM. I'm located in Gainesville, FL. I've got an appointment in Alabama tuning a Stinger EMS on a MKIII Supra in 2 weeks - if you need me to travel, just let me know before hand so we can work out a time

I've got HPTuners, and more experience on everything from carbs to OBDI to OBDII and the alphabet soup of piggybacks than you can shake a stick at

At the time i just had a 3 (tuned for a 2.8 i had waiting at the house i forgot), catback and 42.5s
It was just a basic tune, with a little bit a changes to run the 2.8 a little safer.
The only bad is that he was banned on this forum, then stopped tuning all together.
Im now stuck, and outta 100 bucks because i was trusting that i could go back to him if i needed.
Other than that, the car has ran fine!

Tuned me for Nitrous (55 shot) Header and downpipe swap. Stock Stage 2 pulley put fixed my AFR and timing for the Nitrous. Ramped the Supercharger boost so I don't spin out the hole and so far by best run on what he calls the WTF Tune has been 13.2 at 109 with a 2.06 60. Dude knows his stuff.

I live near him and he told me about the stuff that happened here. He was tuning my car when it all went down. He apoligized but told me he couldn't tune anymore. I guess something came up with the family cuz I haven't seen him lately. But I'm not complaining. My best run with out nitrous was a 13.8 and thats on cheap Kumho's (James' old tires he gave me for cheap)

Love the tune.
Just an update,

Running a:

Jeanbalt (Jean) tune

My car ran like **** on the mase tune in the winter, stalled, etc. Had Jeanbalt retune my car this summer, cleaned up my idle, car ran better and felt stronger. I've had several tunes and Jeanbalt's street tune is the best to date.

I just thought of someone. Although he didnt really tune my car, he taught me almost everything i know and helped me and many very respectible tuners on this site tremendously.

SJSchaffer. I don't know where the hell he went. Havent heard from him in forever. But he is awesome with fueling tables for the 60#s and actually wrote the "how to" on tuning for 60#s. W/o him my car probably wouldnt be running today.

So thanks SJSchaffer. Wherever you went

Decent guy, hot wife, but left a sloppy tune on my car. It idles poorly and when I took it to the rollers to see what kind of power it was making, the A/F dropped to 10.5 around 5500 and my max HP was only 10WHP over stock.
60s / 2.9 / intake.

In his defense he did offer to fix it, but he lived like 80 miles away and I moved right after I got the dyno done. I'm going to end up fixing it myself.

the wacky AFR on the dyno is easily explained by the massive change in dynamic air flow on it Vs. Street.

Dyno<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Street.

Actually, it does it on the road as well. When the Dynamic Airflow kicks in it drops low. The tables are all sorts of wacky, it'll take a while to fix.

BennyHHR- Joe Rutledge

Tuner in the Southeastern Virginia area. Joe has done tuning on my car for about six months before I deployed, and helped with the leaning out I was getting up top and during idle. He also helped with the install of my tvs and the base tune to get it running which wasn't far off what I had on already from him.

He has experience tuning the lsj and le5 but like everyone else (?) feels he has way more to learn. Besides my blower swap, he just finished his own supercharger build for his hhr, and tuned it himself. There are many on here from my area that can speak on his behalf about his work.

His email is tuningconcepts@***.net, and he can also be reached from the site. Don't be surprised if he talks your head off though. His work is good quality and I know my ride is going to be tuned right once all the work is done.

Wickedss2005 - Tom

2.8 and 42's - stock exhaust no cooling mods. 240 whp and 220 wheel torque with massive heatsoak. Tuned it with no wideband. Dyno readings the a/f was damn near perfect.

Tuned for 2.6 ported, full 3" exhaust, meth, 60's, car runs amazing.

Tom is a good guy and I definately trust him with my car.

60s,2.8,CAI,stock exhaust-Great guy. More experienced w/ 42s, but is good none the less. Drives 20+ min to meet me everytime(which is at least once a week) and has tried helping me fix the unknown problem with my car(not tune related). Always answers the phone when I need help!
