Today i was reading my latest gas reciet, and according to it i put the 87 octane gas in it and not the 91 like i always put in. I dont know how i could have done that but i need to know if its bad for my engine, like will this f up my car.

 

no big deal i do it all the time, be easy on the pedal, dont floor it or redline or drive it hard and you'll be fine, dont use any octane boosters or any false remidies. just take it easy for the resy of the tank

 

just go easy on the gas untill you run all the gas through your system and you will be fine

 

Nah...just don't go rippin up the streets till you used it up. You will probably find that you will not have great gass milage and the car will seem a little slugish. When you get to about half a tank fill it back up with high tess.

The only thing will happen is your car will set itself to the lower octane map, you wont have as much performance as you usally do and you might get some knock depending on your mods. But other than that it will be fine, if your that worried fill back up with 93 when you get to half a tank.

 

Go WOT to burn the fuel off quicker.

 

look on the bright side, ya saved some money on this tank full. Probably enough for Taco Bell. Just don't go racing and lead footing the car, it'll be fine.

yeah the car will be fine.. Ive only run premo, but my buddy has never put anything but reg in and it runs fine...

I had a Yamaha 1100 triple wave runner that someone poured gas into the oil port. I was like, did you not see the cap had a picture of an oil spout thing on all oil caps!?

I to put two garden hose sections in there seal it and blow into one end to make positive pressure to push the gas oil mix out the other hose. I was pissssssssssssed!
