wtf stg 2 price

WTF i just got off the phone with my dealer and they want $637 usd to install the stage 1 and 2 kit on my car and do the reflash. it seems like im getting raped a little bit, what do you guys think? and i thought it takes like 2 hours to change injectors, belt and pulley but they claim it takes 5. i dont know but i called 3 dealers in my area, 2 gave me a price of about 637 and one didnt know wtf i was talking about and said they couldent even do the install.

maybe i'll just sell the kit and buy exhaust or something

The quotes are based off dealerworld. Go to a dealership that has experience with the install. They base it off there own install time.

it's really far from you but try Chevrolet at Dadeland Mall.

they have some pretty good techs there...hope this helps
also try Maroone Chevrolet in Pembroke Pines, they quoted my friend $876 for stage 2 installed

find someone with HP tuners and do the install yourself. It won't take long at all and most dealerships have no experience with STG 2.

Goto Kelly Performance, they are part of Kelly Chevrolet but specialize in GM Performance plus they even do custom tunes with hptuners. Used to be supporting vendors on .com's forums, username kellyperformance, hasn't posted over here for more than a year, though. They're in Hallandale, about 30 miles south of you.

Try Kelley Chevrolet, in Hallandale. I used to be a service advisor there and we did several Stage kit installs, my own car being one of them. They also have an in house dyno and performance shop, so you don't have to worry about someone not knowing what stage 2 is. Not sure on the pricing though, haven't worked there in a year, just call and talk to Glenn mcCorvy, one of the service guys, and tell him Joe that used to work there with him told you to call. He's the only guy I trust that is still there.

More Effing Questions On Stage 2!!!

So when your upgrade from stage 2 from a stock 06ss/sc you dont need the stage 1 first? My dealer told me i do, because the only thing that comes with the stage 2 is a pulley, and a belt. I seriously dont even know who do believe anymore!

Plus they want to charge me like 640 for parts! Then probably a **** load for labor!
