a custom tune will help you out quite a bit. Seeing that you live in texas, the only thing I could think of is that you are heat soaking quicker then he is because of the smaller pulley and no cooling mods.
I bet if you were to grab a heat exchanger and re race him, you would beat him. I have been trying to tell people that without cooling mods, its easy to lose to a car with a bigger pulley.

your car is going to have higher iat2s then his right off the bat because of the smaller pulley. As soon as you guys both smash the gas, your iat2s are slowly creeping up compared to his. By the time you guys hit 80 i would bet that yours are about 10degrees higher, and by the time you hit 110 they are probably 20degrees higher.
It may not seem like a lot but you would be shocked at what temps can do to power. I would look into a methanol kit, a heat exchanger, dual pass etc. Cooling mods help a ton, especially when you live in a hot a$$ state like texas.
It will feel like a whole new car to you.

Strange. Maybe you suck at driving. Haha. I'm not sure other than that. I murdered stock LSJ's when I was on the Stg2 tune with a 2.8"... absolutely murdered.
Who was in your car? Anything in your trunk?
What about his car? Any passengers?
Weight makes a BIG difference. Just having my 120lbs fiance in the car is a difference of winning by 3 cars or winning by 1/2 a car against my friends SRT-8 Jeep.

there's constantly things wrong with your car. so i would stop racing it until you figure out what's going wrong. it's either the car, or the way you're driving it. in your last video, i heard you burning your clutch pretty badly. maybe it's just too much abuse? you may not even know you're doing any harm, but it's possible. or, the car is just fucked. either way, i would stop racing and try to figure out every last problem before they keep getting worse.
16psi is reasonable, especially if you are on the stock boost gauge. The stage 2 kit doesn't slow your car down by any means. If you go to the track with a stock ss/sc and make 1 run you will get a high time. If you go and do 1 run with a stage 2 car, with no cooling mods you car will run a quicker time.
However, if you do 3 runs, or 4, or wait in the staging lanes for an extremely long time then your car will actually run slower then the stock ss/sc. The blower creates more heat and it has no where to go except into your engine.
Welcome to the m62 supercharger. Heat soaking is what they are best at lol. I recommend getting cooling mods, and or a interceptor if you can afford it.
+1 to what D4u2s0t said. I didn't realize you were burning the clutch and the car was having other problems. With that being said it could be the way you drive/shift no offense. I would do what D4u2s0t said, figure out all the problems and kinks before racing any more. Wish ya the best of luck man.

if ur talking about the exhaust video..i was revving the car and the RPM's were still a little high when i took off so i wasnt used to taking off like that...i dont ever ride my clutch...

damn.. lol the IRL or SS/SC to do the best aginst me was a stock pulley HPtuned with intake and full GMPP exhaust.. he ONLY lost by about 1 1/2 car's by the end of third.. i however pulled away like he wasnt movin a 2.85 pulley on 43.5 #er's custom tune NO cat with a solid trans mount from 40 roll's when i was stage 2 factory exhaust except for a muffler swap axel back.. i think it's a combo of each car/driver combo.. and how each driver respectively treat's said car..
usmcfieldmp - 30mins is enough to cool her off again depending on the temps outside usually, if you do back to back runs, or with a 5-10 min or less gap, then your iat2s increase pretty quick.
cobaltvenomss - the posters and shirts aren't going to make a difference but im sure you knew that. I would try and do a 3rd gear only run and see how you do. That way neither of you are shifting, so the driver mod is taken out of the aspect. If you win, then you know its your driving. If he still wins then you know somethings up or you are somehow heat soaking way to much, which shouldn't be the case.
