Yay!

i dont know if you guys even care, and mods go ahead and delete this if you'd like, but i thought id just let you guys know im joining the roots style blowers club soon!

http://www.explorerexpress.com/catal...ercharger.html

they dont have it up on the site yet, but it is all over the mustang forums. They have a kit for the 05-06 v6 mustang and im getting one for christmas. It uses an mp-90 and the test mule they used made 287rwhp! I can't wait and im gonna have to race some more of you ss/sc guys after i get it on and it will be a whole different story this time

the real reason i posted this though is to ask you guys a question. my friend has a mazdaspeed protege that i have driven on many occasions (turbo) but i have never driven a supercharged car and i was wondering, the bypass valve...how does it control staying out of boost? Is it by rpm's or the maf or what...?

Congrats man, I hope all goes well with the install! How are you going to tune it? SCT? Does it come with a generic tune? It'll be interesting to see how the new 4.0l V6 responds to the blower.

The boost is mainly controlled by the amount of throttle you give. On the cobalts the bypass will also kick in under certain circumstances, such as overboost and high air temperature.

This sounds like it should be a cool mod for all the v6 mustang guys.
