What injectors are safe for 2.7pulley?

Hey guys I just installed my ZZP 2.7 pulley and was wondering if its safe too run the 42.5 pound injectors from the STG1 kit with 1step colder plugs???? I am getting about 120+ KPA on the boost gauge.... How much are the 60 pound injectors and will they work with the stage 1 GM kit?

One of the moderators Denny has a 2.6" pulley with 42# fuel injectors. He is fine. So there you go.

But, he's limiting boost with a boost controller.

If you don't get an answer soon, I will post up Sunday night, and i will let you know what the duty cyle is on the 42.5 with a 2.7....going to do some logging with HPTuners this weekend.....I have a 2.9 on now, and we are seeing between 50-55% duty cycle with the 42.5, that is at WOT....and I believe 80% duty cycle is the safest, so we will see....

I'm at 116% on a 2.8" with a tad richer Stage 2 tune @ 7000rpm fwiw.

2.7 you should be able to get away with 42#s, but in the higher RPMs you may run lean. I calculated that the 42# should be good to about 260 HP which would calculate out to a 2.8" pulley (which should give around 255 HP). Going to a 2.7" will put you at about 260 or a little more HP which is the very top end of the injector's ability which could cause a lean condition.

You'll be fine, and that is from personal experience. You can read my thread here:
