Your opinion on ottps2

Considering ordering the ottp stage 2 kit when I get my tax return. Just want to get some opinions on this. Is it reliable? zzp s3 better? Is it really even a decent hp gain? Also what is the general hp area I will be in once tuned on this. Any feedback is welcome.

Its worth it. Just make sure you get retuned. Their tune is too conservative, imo.

Good company, good products, good HP gain.

Win win. Do it! I'd reccomend getting their heat exchanger with the kit though, it really does help get you away from heatsoaking.

I have a 2.8/60's/HE and it was a world of difference compared to stock. My car never hesitates to put a smile on my face . Worth it for sure. I'm still on the ZZP Canned tune which stinks but it's still tons of fun, you might end up with some pretty brutal idle bounce until you get tuned (I have it. Can't wait for spring to tune).

Definatly made a differnece over my GMS2 setup, people say it's a conservative tune which it is but you will feel the difference in power ottp and zzp are both great companies A custom tune is recommended and also some cooling mods

Enjoy

I am convinced now I am going to go with the ottp s2, until I get tired of that and maybe this time next year go tvs or maybe turbo Def, dont have the money for either right now though lol. I would like to find a video of a s2 vs stock sc to really see how much of a difference it is but cant find anything.

May be tough to find but trust me you will be very happy. And ever happier once you get a custom tune. Just contact Josh or Sean at OTTP to make sure they have everything in stock so you don't order you're kit then end of waiting for something that they don't have. Even shoot Josh a PM on here. He's fast at replying.

Yes sir, that is exactly what I'm doing now.

Are you installing it yourself?

yeah I was planning on it, unless I run into some trouble. But I have alot of people around to help If I run into anything. I think the hardest part will just be changing the pulley and belt.

Oh god, that belt.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...t-belt-234328/

It may help you if you run into problems with it.

That's good that your doing it, for me it was half the fun haha. Except putting the bumper back on (Which I need to take off again ). Although I'm sure it will be easier the second time.

If you can get someone with HP tuners to flash you're PCM with the OTTP tune it's a lot less hassle. Otherwise you will have to go to GM and get a relearn done.

I'm have the same problem. I'm also getting a Ottp stage 2 with H\E in like a week and the only problem i'm having is getting tuned. Theres a few shops around here but not one really thats done our cars. Theres one shop at the LV speedway that looks good but there a little pricey but i guess if I want it done right its gonna cost me.

What happens if you don't get a relearn done? Mine plugged in and runs without issues (besides idle).

Won't hurt it. I ran mine for a couple weeks without the case re-learn, it ran awesome. And an Interceptor can get Do it, if you have one or know someone that does.
