Hey you have an aftermarket alarm. How easy is it to incorporate one with the stock alarm? Can you just replace it and have your auto door/trunk/lights parts still work?

Having the magnaflow high flow cat means no check engine lights, and 4 years from now you will still be able to pass inspection

Definatly let us know how if any difference you feel. Interested in this for my 2.4 but not sure if the 3" downpipe is to big for our 2.4 NA motor.

IM having weird noises come from mine. I replaced the stock gasket inbetween the catback/downpipe which was all melted and crap with a brand new one, tightened it up and everything. I know thats perfect and IM still getting the noise. So now its either the cat itself or the gasket or spot where the cat hooks to the header. I could not get to that in my driveway, so I am taking it to a muffler shop to be looked at tomorrow to see if they can identify the noise. It makes my car sound all ricey. If it where not for that noise it would be perfect.

If not correct me if I am wrong but if I ordered magnaflow catback exhaust, wouldnt it be exhaust from the cat and back ???

Also the only reason I would purchase a downpipe with a cat would be so I didnt get a CEL, are you telling me that with this cat I would get that CEL??

I could care less about emissions we do not have tests like that in alberta canada.
Catback exhausts start at the flange behind the cat and usually go pipe, resonator, more pipe, muffler and tip. They don't include or have anything to do with the cat; they start at the flange after the cat.

The ZZP downpipe runs between the stock header and the flange after the cat. The missing link. Whether you get one with or without a cat is up to you.

Hope I explained that ok.

I had an exaust leak previously and it sounds just like that. I had my 2.5 magnaflow catback welded and problem went away. Now When I start the car or idle it sounds fine. When I punch it theres like this noise, very hard to describe, but definately sounds like a leak. I checked everywhere but where the new downpipe connects to the header, so there may still be an issue there, and I will ahve that checked out tomorrow. If thats all it is I will update, maybe an issue with the gasket up top too. If not I will update, and look at a replacement cat for a fix.
