Okay, so I install my ZZP 3" intake that came in today, install was going fine, got done, went to go get gas, crank the wheel all the way to the right, and my ******* tire is rubbing the plastic wheel well, I stick my hand under there and the piping from the intake is pushing the wheel well out like 2 inches, and there is now some wear marks!!
I fucked with the fitment for nearly 2 hours, and no matter what I cannot get this ******* thing to fit for the life of me, without bulging my wheel well! Why is this happening? The fitment on this thing is dick! Has anyone else had this problem? Or know how to correct it?

Theres got to be a way without rigging it.. Like holy ****, $220 on a product, made by the company who holds the record for the worlds fastest SS/SC and their intake fits like *****.
If anyone who had this intake would be so kind as to post a picture of it installed, I will offer handjobs.

Well I would contact them first. If not you will have to figure it out on your own. That's what I had to do. My solution worked. I basically pulled the lower half of the intake towards the engine and away from the wheel well. I put a zip tie around the intake and another through a hold I drilled. I know this is rigging it, but it has worked for almost two years now

worlds fastest ss/sc's in a straight line.
look at what is going on, trying to shove a 3" diameter pipe into a crammed as it is engine compartment, now what would the logical thing be to think.
if you're gonna bawl about
A. do what black ss/sc said
B. trade someone for one of the other intakes

I don't see it!
Maybe I need to mess with the fitment some more. I don't know. I know I get frustrated easy, but holy **** this thing is way off. It sounds AMAZING though.. The SC sounds completely different.

I don't really want to rig it, so I'll probably give it another go.. I wish I could find some installed pictures. Might help my cause a little. It's a little difficult when a product doesn't come with instructions, and on top of it, no installed pictures so I can't even compare.
Kinda sucks.

Also, did anyone have problems using your stock MAF bolts? Because mine don't stay in the new tubing, at all.
