What is it even zip-tied to? I would love to know. I might just go do it..

And SpringerDesigner, what is the part number for the K&N filter OTTP uses?

my 3" rebel intake also rubbed on the wheel well but i messed around with it and used zip ties and trimmed a little off the wheel well liner so there is no more rubbing

It's not so much that it's rubbing the inside of the wheel well (which it is), but it's more-so that it is bulging the wheel well outward and causing the tire to rub when the wheel is turned.

3" intakes are a tight fit but you shouldn't need any zip ties or have any rubbing. You have to play with moungting, clocking and such a little but it should be just fine. We've been doing a lot of them.

yeah me too, only had a lil tire rub once til i adjusted it and all was gone + i have an 07 so i had to deal with the brake line issue...ended up cracking the stocker and making my own from scratch(universal straight line had to cut to fit and dbl flare the tip and put the fitting from the stock line on)...never knew installing an intake on my car would take me two days... oh well, sounded mean as hell

Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal was. I fix it, it seems. However, every installed picture I see doesn't look like how mine is, so I question it.

Nah, I don't regret it now that it's done, but at the time I was getting really frustrated!

No issues w/ my zzp 3" intake here

it's all in how you mount the bottom maf tube to the bracket to the bracket inside the wheel well.

it's a tight fit, but this shouldn't be an issue.

How exactly should it be mounted? What do you mean?
