ZZP 3" users in here..

..Out of curiosity, what kind of boost levels are you guys typically seeing on the stock boost gauge?

I'm seeing around 13.5-14 then finally going up to about 15 around 5,500. Is that the norm? Or are some of you getting more than 16psi? I saw 16psi the night of installation, but never saw it again.

I am running the boost bypass mod as well.

R33P3R007, Does your boost gauge sit above 0 psi when you just turn the key on?

nope. but it also explains why my cat got toasted, and GM wouldn't fix it. because I see too much boost.

PS. I never used the boost bypass mod either.

Dude if you are seeing over stock boost without a pulley you have a clogged exhaust system creating more restriction creating more boost. That is a GM defect. I have a 3.15 pulley and I am seeing 14.5 lbs of boost so I would take it that a 3.1 should be 15 psi. For 16 you would need a 3

Geez I must be doing something wrong. I barely see 15psi @ almost redline. The majority of it is 13.5-14 psi.

Ill let the video explain it, its actually kind of hard to see, but you can see the 15 mark and it hits that right away and holds right up until the boost bypass kicks in

Unfortunately, i have some timing issues ! I must clamp the MAP sensor or scale it soon. Just stay tuned, I do my possible to let you informed, as long as I have enough money to throw in the car.

That's true, I guess i'm just a littled dissapointed, my car hardly ever made the stock 12.5psi, I suppose I had my hopes a bit high as far as the boost increase. But you're right, it's at the track where it counts!

Dude, your car seriously feels like it'll be mid 13's...I'm not even kidding.
