The S3 H/E does not gain HP. The Heat Exchanger is used to help recover IAT2 temps when WOT and wont help with the fun factor until you pulley down. Only hp gainer is the CAI.

No need for cooling until you go to a 2.8 pulley, I was tuned on a 2.9 and did not need cooler according to iat2 temps until i dropped pulley again.

His only hp gainer is the intake and is a good first mod.

it depends on what ur plans are for the future? if u are gonna pulley down to a 2.9 and run it quite often then sure u can go with the H/E I prefer my car running cool first and power second... but if ur not gonna go that way and maybe pulley down to a 3.1 or 3.0 and get bolt ons no need for it... but its how u want to mod ur car.

Get the CAI first then drop pulley sizes then get the HE

CAI = very loud whine < I miss that

I planned on doing CAI > HE > Full exhaust > pulley/injectors/tune

That could work. I did intake then all exhaust with H/E at same time.
