ZZP comp cams worth the price ?
I had a question right now im stageb 3 zzp i have all my cooling mods. still have to get tranny and motor mounts also in the next few weeks i will be getting a tune for e85 from e bristol.
my question is how good are the stage 1 comp cams for tq and horse power. Are the cams really worth the 1300 they want for them ? an can i run those safely on a stock block ?
also here in a few months im going with a tvs. So i was just courious if it is worth it for one of my upgrades ?

If you think its too expensive zzp comp cams, you could buy them directly from comp cam~600 but then you need to look for a shop that shapes from so that it will fit into place. Thats no free. Its a shame cuz comp cams supposedly mades cams specifically for the cobalt but its not.

well for one the cams were not made for the cobalt they were made for the ecotec 2.2 ltr and zzp did what so they would work in a 2.0 whith the exh cam position hex for the sensor you do not need a shop to shape them what ever the **** you mean by that they are drop in and tune there is a guy on here runnign the stg 1 with a 2.8 pully no meth and put down 280hp

When you replace your cams, you will NEED to replace your valve springs and retainers. It is also HIGHLY recommended to remove or replace your balance shafts with the neutral balance shafts. Please keep in mind, even our Stage 1 cams are a big upgrade from the stock cams.
thats from the zzp website is it a good idea to spend the extra money and get the springs and netural balnace shafts ? or can i just get the stage 1 cams install them and be ok ? just want it to work the best.
an i figured cast blanks would work ok
