when installing the ZZP midlength header and DP combo, will I need an O2 harness extension?? Or is there a how-to do it yourself write up somewhere??

Would extending the wires without the use of an "extension plug" from ZZP be sufficient?

 

Not recommended unless you have the correct metripack connectors, etc. Spend the money and save yourself the hassle of problems later.

 

I'd agree. But the problem I'm kinda facing here is that the only place I can find an extension is ZZP. The price is right, but the fact that I'm in Canada, and it would likely be 2 weeks to get it here, kind of put a kink in the whole idea. I need this yesterday.. lol

only place i have gotten mine is from zzp cuz i bought everything from them new...

 

If your car is tuned or someone has access to HP Tuners the rear O2 sensor CEL can be turned off. I don't have a rear O2 sensor in mine and have a dummy plug connected to the harness from the engine. I also do not have a cat installed so I need not worry about cat efficiency. Also depends on emission/safety inspections. I was conducting training in Winnipeg for six months a few years ago and learned that fleet inspections are pretty strict.
