ZZP HEADER Manifold GASKET ???

I had an exhaust leak at the header/manifold and pulled it all apart to replace the gaskets with OEM parts and noticed I have the ZZP shorty header and the ports from the head does not match the header??? I even checked their website and their LSJ ZZP header gasket pic does not match their header or ports on the LSJ head. Is there a reason they block off several of the small ports on the head? And their header has a weird channel coming off the end of one exhaust port. Anyone else notice this? And what gasket do I need. I have the OEM metal gasket which doesn't look like it will work.

The small ports on the head dont really do anything.

Now look at there shorty header, the gasket doesn't have the channel off one port like the header has. The gasket that came off my car does have the channel but it was lined up with a flat spot on the head so I would like to know why its there.

its a composite gasket that comes with the zzp header, different material/style than the oem gasket.

there are 4 exhaust ports, the zzp header i have matched my ported head ports and so did the gasket.

Does anyone know if the oem gasket will work? It's not easy getting hold of anyone at zzp. Would hate to bolt it all back up to find out it won't work.

Yes it will work, and is better quality than what zzp offers anyways.

I always recommend the oem manifold gasket over aftermarket.

Cool thank you very much. Glad I don't have to wait another 3-4 days for a zzp gasket.
