I re-used the stock studs and nuts for the header to the block. I also reused the stock exhaust gasket. All the other gaskets and hardware were brand new

 

Is it just me, or does it seem wrong that this header has the 02 bung directly on the bottom? I had read that with a sensor positioned like that, fluid can build up on it and foul it.

 

Not really, only the first O2 sensor is on the bottom (6 o'clock pos) and that is in the collector, which is pointed down and away from the block, meaning that the sensor is at an angle, not pointing straight up. Not in a place where fluid could really build up.
