ZZP OTS Tune

How many of you have had OTS tunes from ZZP? Good/Bad experience?

Thinking of getting some 42s (no pulley) and having a ZZP OTS Tune for them. Was hoping I could get some of your thoughts and experiences with either this setup, similar setup, or any setup using the OTS.

OTS?
ZZP's canned tune is just that, a canned tune. it will work, you may need a case relearn, but a customized tune is always the better way.

OTS = Off the Shelf. I can't justify buying a 500$ tuning suite to tune it my self. I don't have any thing planned for it.

Was hoping for a little more insight than that, but thanks regardless. Any one else?

He was dead on. A canned tune is not as reliable as a custom tune and you would probably see a higher power gain from a custom tune.

In the long run you make money buying hp tuners becuase it is a skill that people will pay for ( so long as you tune properly).

Akron/Cleveland area.

And to other posters, not looking to make money or blow 500 on a tuning suite, as I said before. HP Tuners won't do me any good, considering I'm not trying to achieve high horsepower, so it'd be a waste on my part. And I don't have the time to go out and tune other Cobalts in the area, nor am I interested in it.

Just looking get some power out of the car, while keeping the car in stock class in AutoX. So long as I don't get a smaller pulley, I'm all good.

I'm assuming your guy's experience with the tune just isn't worth it then eh?

And to BYT, I won't be getting this until after mid-October if you're up here around then.

Want to get some 42's first before I do anything.

No plans as of now. There are quite a few people around that can handle a custom tune for you, it was just coincidental that I was going to be in your area

Maybe eventually I'll get a tune. Just wanted to gauge the community to see if I could find some "helpful" information about what the tune has done for others, and what others think. The whole "get some one to tune it" or "just buy HP Tuners" thing wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but if that's the answer to what people think about the tune, then I'll take the hint lol
