either way you go you are in general gettin the same part/quality. its just goin to turn into who do you like better as a vendor. ive never had a issue with any of zzp's parts so thats why i stick to them. tho the next person that veiws this is going to say theyve never had issues with ottp and you should buy from them. IMO cheaper part ftw.

I'm buying OTTP, heard nothing but good things and that's my plan, I'm buying them at the end of this month.
if that helps you with the "bandwagon decision" then I did my job.

You guys don't understand what "rotated" means on the OTT mounts. The mount itself is not rotating anything.
Anyway, I doubt you'll find better price/performance than the ZZP mount. We design all of our products to be the best and price them lower than competition. When we get beat out or an improvement can be made or customers don't like something; we redesign things. That what the Gen 2's are. A redesigned product to best any competitors at a lower price.

Is it going to be on sale on the site and what day does it start cause if it is cheaper I will consider cause I'm ready to buy now and the turbo tech racing ones are 280, plus I've always been a fan of yours and Shawn's work?

Zoomer you are 100% wrong. The motor rotates in location in the chassis, with the OTTP mounts. Period. I make them. The rationale is well explained in the GM build book, which shows what I developed back 6 years ago. How can it be that you apparently dont understand what the mount does? Strange comment from a smart guy. Or bs from someone who likes to use smoke and mirrors to cover up something?
In other words if you have more than 2 brackets holding a solid object, you cannot extend or shorten one of them. Admittedly I did not develop this product personally so I'd have to ask by this is my understanding of just basic stuff.

well Zoomer thanks for being polite. I have explained it before, but here goes. The front goes down the rear goes up; as this happens the driver side mount which is very very soft, flexes and permits rotation. The passenger side is stiffer, but it is made with very large holes in the mount to engine bracket, so that if the bolts are loosened off the rotation is possible.
I can send you drawings with dimensions; or you could do the TTR thing and copy one. The angle of the engine bracket changes; but due to mount flexibility it is possible to get away without machining a new bracket in this location for street cars. For the Time Attack car and Grand Am racing, which is where I first developed the rotated mount, a machined bracket is used.
For your drag racing you will still get tramp on launch even with rotated mounts, the reason (among many other things like tire pressure/ drag radial side wall stiffness/bias ply drag radial stiffnes/track prep/shock damping/ride height/launch rpm etc etc) is the soft driver side mount. I have drawings for a new one for this location, but as money is short everywhere & there is no real reason for me to make a mount for it.
For racing we used uhmw inserts. They vibrate and are awful for the street. I developed a voided bushing application and that handles practically all vibes in stage 1 and leaves some idle vibes in stage 2.
Poly vibrates and is not as durable as uhmw for the application, so I dont use that material.
I use stage 1 in my dd/track racer.
Anything more, zoomer, email me, happy to help. .
