zzp stage 3 heat exchanger question
Hello all, I installed my stage 3 heat exchanger last week. I was curious as to how I could get the temperature down. My car used to sit at abou 178 and now is an easy 184 on a regular basis and does get hotter when I stomp it. Someone at the cobalt meet in ohio told me I could put water in to keep it cooler? I used dex cool 50/50 didnt know If there was anything to do to chill it more. I know the heat exchanger is supposed to help with things overheating.

Your looking at the wrong thing. You need to monitor IAT2 temps and not the Coolent temp displayed on the dash.

Get an aeroforce interceptor gauge or hp tuners software

Yep only way to do it. Gauge is cheaper since hptuners is around 500
