ZZP Stage Kits Fuel Injectors

I was looking at the ZZP Stage kits today,
and noticed that they are comming with 50# Injectors. For some reason I thoiught they came with 60# Injectors. I dont ever remember hearing about 50# injectors before. Is it something new? Last time I looked at the ZZP Stage Kits, I thought they came with 60s. Maybe I'm mistaken.

GM Racing used 50# injectors in some of their testing back in the day.

I'm not sure why they didn't just use them with the Stage kits instead of the 42's.

The 50# injectors will prob help with the idle issues ZZP has with their Stage kits. 60#injectors are actually too large of an injector for the LSJ. It's very hard to get larger injectors to idle nice through a canned tune. You really need to spend some time tuning them. It can be done though.

Technically its fine but if you plan on going lower then a 2.8 go with 60 s since they have more room...

U can but there's no point... Do you wanna have to purchase new injectors later when u pulley down to a 2.6 or somthing or go tvs or turbo. I wouldn't. No point. Just get 60 s

I would just get 60 or 80 and be done with it. I was 42, went 60 and now want to go to 80 next season. Buy something with room to grow IMO.

if all you want to do is 2.8" pulley and you never plan to go smaller than that, or turbo/tvs, then go with the 50s. as stated, its harder to make large injectors idle well, in this department smaller is better.

You can't max the 50# out with the M62 so why buy the 60# and waste 80 dollars unless your going to go tvs or turbo like stated above

Lmfao. Ure on some good crack...^^I want some lol^^^^ŚŚŚ: can't max 50s on a m62.. **** u are maxing injectors that are 42 s on a 2.9-2.8 pulley. So you add 50s and you'll max them out at around a 2.7-2.6 but fueling also depends on elevation mods and ect. So 60s are a way better option lol

A 2.6" makes out at 48#. I have done some readings on this. Because I also want to do a Stage 3 kit.

ZZP posted that the 50s cannot be maxed out by the M62. I'm sure they did tests and stuff before posting that.

Lol zzp also tunes there stuff lean prob in order to get this. Let's put it like this. All supporting mods including 2.6 ported blower 20 lbs of boost my idcs on my 60s were 78% with a 11.5 afr. So put 50s in idcs will be 88-100% depending on fuel. Maxxing injectors isn't 100% maxxing them out is a mere 95%-100%.. also can u run ethanol e85 with 50s and a 2.8? Nope. It I can with 60s. Is it a better path to go if u get 60s and a 2.8 and below? Yes it is...... Think of it like this. How many time you want to change Ure injectors? Because you will. Even if u don't think you will . Your gonna upgrade. More money into the pockets of other people which could be a reason why zzp sales them.

They see a market and add something to it so a person sees these because they are cheaper so they buy them. And a couple months down the road they need 60s so where do they go? Zzp so therefore zzp sold you twice.
