Is it possible to delete cam sensor. I can turn it off with trifecta. Unpluged and started it up took aout 2 extra seconds to start. I want to get cams but having trouble finding anyone to put a cam sensor on comp cams. I can deal with a delayed start. Would it effect performance at all?

 

Yes it would. Cam sensor is an input for fuel delivery and spark timing. Without it the ecm won't know individual cylinder piston and valve status. It would probably fire 2 injectors at once potentially skewing O2 sensor readings, decreased economy and cause accelerated wear on combustiin chamber components, valve deposits etc. Could see mis fires and other fun problems from deleting it. Bad idea.
