so royce 777 said he went to hook up his gm honed header and removed sai completly from the car and he said he had a problem or something so he put it all back in the car and rigged something on the gm header so sai would work or something.
i have a 08 ls 2.2 with SAI and was finally going to install my ZZP modlength combo today.
can i just leave SAI on the car obv not hooked up to the zzp header, and just remove the stock header and put the zzp one on and push the componets to SAI to the side?
in getting my supercharger kit installed either next month or july. so SAI wont be tuned out till then.
would it be ok? would i have any problems?

Sure, but when the pump kicks on it'll be noisy and your check engine light will go on.

well it only would be noisy for that small period during startup right.? and already have a cel for my zzp 2.5 catted downpipe so code isnt a problem.

Yeah, as soon as the cycle is done it'll be ok, you could always pull the relay too, then you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Yes, just install the header/manifold. leave valve attached to the bracket. I drove my car like that for over 2 years.

installed the header combo. removed the SAI pump. good to go. hoses are still there wil remove em at a later time
what relays or fuses are you guys talking about?

I'm guessing this is the noise I get on startup in my '06. Always wondered what that was.
