check your brake booster hose, we opted to replace that dumb ass fitting with a hose clamp as the other one kept moving and leaking

idk man. retuned it after some data logging and it still wouldnt do dick with the idle. im not thinkin internals got fucked up somehow? (car was never outta time and everything was installed to exact spec)

You know, knock can very VERY quickly kill your internals, even with only 1 severe knock event.
Stock ignition advance map + raised CR = boom

We went through everything, might have bent a valve again but very slightly. Or possibly balance shafts are creating some problem, but I don't have a clue what they could cause.

well it will start then jumpy idle and stall

fuel is my main concern at this point, think it may be old but i did vacuum smoke test and spark plug test, both good. t/b is clapping which is what lead to vacuum leak test but it was brand new from dealer so it shouldnt be bad. soon to do compression and leak down tests

yes i know that, right now i am not much advanced on timing and compression ratio is 10.2-10.3 so im not worried about too that at this point, balance shafts are 90% the problem with causing knock sensor to go off (in my mind) but its not going off much. and the gas may be a problem too.

i have disconnected the knock sensor (left it plugged in) and motor still wouldnt idle. next on list is drain fuel and get new fuel filter. if that dont help, probably pull motor and put a stock in for now then fix this one before i swap it back in.

im just so fed up wit this damn car right now im bout to quit on it

bad spark plug gap ?
TB not opening enough at idle (bad cal) ?

Are you using a constant fuel pressure in US or a vaccum operated variable one like us in europe ? (with vaccum coming from the manifold)
