Thanks, we'll talk to you later. Have good day! The car will be going to the dyno, and yes as for now the interceptor is being used as a basis for comparison.

And in Cameron's Defense, I don't see why he is a toolbag, he may be a post *****, but he is not full of ****.

You might be right about that with stock springs and swaybars. But IRS has potential for even greater handling than a solid axle could ever dream of. Throw in some adjustable coilovers, some BFG KD's, and go throw down some 1.00 G turns.

i simply loose respect for people who use interceptors as dyno's....and the worst part is that he claimed that his actual WHP rating off it!

i see nothing wrong with using it as a VARY rough idea but i'm not going to claim my numbers of it...plus most people don't adjust the correction factor in the gauge thus making the numbers even more inaccurate...

none the less back on the topic of the worst post of all time.....the 12.1sec LS

I'm really skeptical, because I actually DO race a 400+hp cobalt, and can't get the 1.7 or the 12.1 that he is talking about. Then again I suck at driving, and Cobalts aren't easy to drive IMO.

FYI> it's not the car in my sig, it is "La Bannana" Gilbert's car.
Thats messed up, I have stage II and all GMP bolt ons and I'm right near the 12s. There is no reason a 400hp balt should not be in the 11s

Archie, Gilbert hasn't been to the track since he blew his clutch last time. and it's too hot to go now

I told Gilbert to book a dyno, because I'm tired of people thinking that we don't know what we are talking about.

Yeah there is. Traction, and mechanical limitations. It's only a matter of time until someone figures out what is needed.

On his myspace page, it says he makes $250K+ a year, so I guess he probably could afford to do that to an Ls. Not sure why you wouldn't own an exotic w/ money like that, but what do I know?

Yeah, all im gonna say is if someone makes 250k a year they aren't buying a f'in cobalt not even a SS/SC.

they MIGHT buy a 07 z06, but i would expect someone with that kind of money to drive a gt2 porsche or some sh*t

I'll have no problem pulling a 12.1 in an LS. But when i do say i have, ill at least have proof. It is entirely possible, and if he makes what he says he does, maybe he just likes the cobalt? You dont have to buy a z06 if your rich. If i got a new job making 250k i wouldnt get rid of my cobalt.

Wow, you give way too much benefit of the doubt here.

I don't need any proof. I know for a fact it's complete crap. The Alpine kit is simply not capable of that. Being funny is one thing. Spreading complete BS is another.
