i personally like how the AEM Fi/C works... and frankly i like tht idea much more than a canned tune...

which is ur only other option.... they have one from clearimage/trifecta

dont really kno wht people have against the F/IC

It won't work. even if it was able to work you would need a tune for it or you would get limp mode.

The 2.4 TB would be your best option.

Even the 2.4 TB won't work without a tune.

you're not moving anywhere near the amount of air that would require you to run a bigger throttle body. leave it as it is.

IT IS NOT A CANNED TUNE...FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME PEOPLE!!!

he sends you a tune that is approx for your mods...then you contact him and upload updates to your tune by driving and logging with equip he sends you....its the same as if he was sitting in the seat next to you....

LET ME REPEAT MYSELF....THIS IS BY NO WAY...A CANNED TUNE...AT ALL...WHATSOEVER...

Yes it is a canned tune....if you want i can post the email he sent me...the Canned tune is for cars with basic or no mods whatsoever now...custom tune is for just that...custom parts installed that you wouldn't find on a mildly modified car...examples:

Canned tune: stock cars, CAI, basic exhaust
Custom tune: Forced induction, larger intake manifolds/throttle body's, full exhaust, cams, etc.

Trifecta has support for 05-07 Cobalt 2.2, 06-07 Cobalt 2.4, and i know the LSJ for the Ion Redline's, as for the Cobalt LSJ engines, there is a problem flashing them because of part of the "GM Tools" that is loaded into the ECU....

well geuss what i got a tune to work for the 2.4 TB hence it is a custom tune. The problem that soem have with those calling this a can tuned is that your comparing it to that of, lets say, a company like jet performance. Trifecta tuning allows to remove thigns uch PE delay, speed govenor and rev limitor (toi what ever you want) just to name a few. So this is by no way a "canned tune."

my point exactly...if you want it to be canned and just take it as is with no updates once you rcv it...then fine...otherwise it is a fully customized tune for your car

its canned and it isnt. on the one hand its canned becuase you can get a standard tune that everyone else with those mods had. but on the other, if something isnt exactly right for you, he will personally fix it. and you can suggest which things you want added.

its reliable from what I've heard, he seems to really care about getting your car running good.

Agreed Tom.

I've been around shops a few years back when I was heavy into imports, and i must say Vince and his buddy Bob at the Drift Office changed my attitude on tuners completely.

just all around good folks. they'll do ya right.
