yelling will not help you
there hasn't been a fix for this issue, likely you messed up the butterfly or didnt reconnect something properly
purchase a new TB and have it professionally installed is my suggestion

I've had that message before "reduced engine power" on my old 2.2l cobalt. What happend with mine was my cold air intake sucked up some fluffy snow. (long story). Anyway, the dealership told me that the car goes into a "saftey mode" to reduce engine damage. Luckly I heated my garage up and left it for a night, the next morning it was fine. Best thing I can tell you is talk to your dealer. Good luck!
try unplugging the battery and waiting a lil while then plugging back in....
you may have screwed something up though, this happened to steve when he was up here a few weeks ago, we put in one of our other tbs and it fixed it..
also check to make sure you dont have any leaks, like your brake booster hose or what not...that will do it too

figured it out guys....the sensor that plugs into the TB wasnt clipped in correctly bc the harness broke..thanks for all the help though guys..appreciate it..another victory for CSS.NET
and this is probably the reason 100 other people have had this issue when reinstalling their TB. that clip is pretty nasty to take off/on, good thing I had them on my Equinox, same clips, so I was familiar with them before I got the cobalt. I think they tried to make them idiot proof but in turn just made more issues from ppl not taking them off correctly.
