2.2 + GMP Intake = ???

Just recently bought a GMP Intake...was wondering how much HP/tq this adds to a stock 2.2

i think it should be 2-5 hp gain

i think they dynod it to increase 1whp i think, dont remember, but its not alot, a intake alone wont help much

They only real advantage of the intake that I have noticed is more noise above 4000, much faster throttle response and slightly better gas milage.

twist the filter, the long portion og the neck should be facinf down, if you leave it like that the hood will crunch it, see how its closer to one end than the other? needs to be facing straight down(the long end)

If you face it stright down, it smushes the filter against the wall of the air box... This it just the way that GM design it, and no the hood does not hit it. It is close but it does not hit.
