2.2 header and ss/sc header

I'm wanting to do an ss/sc exhaust on my 2.2. I believe i read somewhere on here before that the header on my 2.2 is the same as the ss/sc? Did i read wrong or what? And also do i need the ss/sc header/downpipe/catback to get the full hp gain? Or would a catback and downpipe be good enough for me with my 2.2 header? Thanks guys.

2007, i read the lsj header and the 07 2.2 header is the same size?

And if i get the down pipe and cat from an lsj will i see hp gain and improvement. Also a little louder sound?
