2.2 s/c bolt on
2.2 s/c bolt on
Okay, so I'm supposed to be looking at a s/c kit on a ion redline to buy the s/c kit off of and it has a 3.1" pulley. Will #34 injectors work? Or will o need the #42 injectors. I also have a throttle body cable and the harness for the injectors for when I do the swap so if there are any other adapters please let me know.
42s, because with a 2.2 the 34# injectors will be maxed out on a stock pulley. And remember you will need these harnesses:
Throttle body harness(you are already getting)
LSJ MAP pigtail so you can wire the TMAP into your existing harness
MAF extension harness

thanks for listing the other things I'll need this is actually really helpful. Since I'm getting #34 injectors and harness should I buy a new pulley for the supercharger when I get it? I did some digging on zzp and found all their suggestions about injectors and it says the smallest it can go on #34 is 3.25"

TB harness good and that will save you some money
Using the lsj map isn't absolutely necessary but you can if you want. just more cash and more wiring
Maf extension harness isn't necessary either. You can just de-loom those wires and pull them apart and re loom them and it will be long enough saving you some money there too
I'd still recommend buying a set of 42's incase you decide to go bigger and so then you dont have to put a stock pulley back on. I'm sure many others would agree with you on that. Are you saying not to go to Phil? I want a dyno tune. I'm ready to spend 500$ on it when I get all the parts on. Just need somewhere in south west fl that will do a good job.
Tampa Tuning conducted themselves very poorly on this site recently. IDK I think that's a strike against a business.
I've heard good things about the tuning though. Idk that's what you guys are here for to look out for each other so none of us get screwed. If anyone knows a way to get a good tune let me know. My last resort would be sending my pcm to zzp and having my car sit for a week or so waiting on a flash tune but I need my car for work and school and id much rather hit a dyno.
