2.2 turbo options????

I'm looking for a bolt on turbo kit for my 2.2.

From what I can tell it's Hahn or Garrett.
Are they the exact same kits? It looks like it from the pictures.

I know they both come with tuning but how exactly does that work?
Do I just flash the tune into the car? Do I have to do any customizing of the tune myself?

I've seen mentions of a turbo kit by Alpine Developments but I can't find any info on it.
Anyone know anything about it?

Thanks for any answers.

Hahn and Garrett are the same. Seems as if Garrett started it and Hahn finished it.

the autos can use it now thanks to trifecta's tuning. the Alpha kit has a handheld tuner. i suggest looking at all but the alpha cause autos dont need to spend that extra $$ on the handheld

I'm a stick so I thin I could use the tuner that comes with the hahn/garrett kit or have trifecta tune it.

I'm not finding an STS kit specifically for cobalts????

And what about the alpine kit?

forgot about Vulcan, thanks for chiming in. there is no specific kit from STS. the universal kits are what you want to look at. As for Alpine, I just did a quick look and havent found anything yet. Still looking though

I'm running the Vulcan Turbo kit with Trifecta for the tuning. You can also get the garrett/hahn kit, doesn't matter whether you're a manual or auto. The only reason it says manual only is because the tuner that is included does not tune the transmission. If you're an 05-06 stick then you can use it, but for auto you're better off going with Trifecta that way you can get a transmission tune as well.

STS universal kits will work with some modification, but might require some shop labor to install. If you know what you're doing you can also pick and choose different parts from Hahn's LSJ turbo kit as pretty much everything works on the 2.2's as well.
