2 questions. Can i get the parts off a 2.4 or do i have to get it form gmpp. And second will it make a difference with just a CAI on it

 

yeah you can get it from a 2.4 its the same thing. if you can find one used with all the gaskets go for it.

either way you should still see improvments in the same region of your power band. not as dramatic, but something. i am being told that with the 2.4 IM a tune is suggested for the maximum performance increase, and it will get rid of the low end loose... but thats what IIIIIII have been told...

 

you will have to sacrifice some low end powar to gain some upper rpm power even with the tune. but i think its worth it. once you get it spinning up into the higher rpms its all good.

but if you go pick up a 2.4 throttle body you may nullify the low end loss. i wouldnt know. and im not ready to buy one and retune.
