Has anyone done a 2.4L mani swap with a LSJ throttle body onto a L61 base model car?

 

Just get an 06-07 2.4 mani and tb

 

So on a 2.2 is there not that much of a throttle response increase between running the 2.4 throttle body and a LSJ Throttle body after you have a 2.4 manifold? Also just for clarification, so many people say that with a throttle body swap you need a tune. Now are they just referring to an idle air volume relearn? I can make the ECU relearn the throttle body with a Snap On scanner but I don't see why you'd need to reflash anything just to get the car to run.

 

With a 2.4 tb the size difference isnt huge so you dont NEED a tune but lsj im pretty sure you would need one due to it being .75" bigger. Its not just a throttle learn either, these electronic throttle cars are finacky and need to know the area of the throttle blade.
