2.4 mani

hey guys! i wanted to get some info on this 2.4 manifold and wut it cud do for my 2.2l? wuts the advantage? and did anyone put this on there 2.2 already? if so how do u like it?

I don't have it on my 2.2. But it has its advantages and disadvantages just based off of charts and feed back. It is a good mod. You have lots of pull higher in your power band. But you lose a lot of power a mid range. It depends on the person. Plus you need to think about how much air your intake pulls in. There are alot of technecail theory behind the air flow. As I said, it is a good mod, don't get me wrong. I have the mandifold set aside in my room. I am just waiting for somebody to come up with a tuning solution and pair cams for my 07. Then it will be an awsome mod. I don't claim to be an expert on this. Just do a little research here and their to figure out what parts will benefit. I might suggest look up threads on the internet about air flow.

I think the 2.4 mani would be a nice compliment to your I/E

Then again, with a Header you'd have the whole Breathing thing down pat. You will be using the 2.2L TB on the 2.4L mani so it will have a little less air flwo then a 2.4, it will have better airflow however then your stock 2.2 mani. I do belive you will feal a slight loss down low, but a Nice Gain up top. If you did go N20 wich u were thinking, the added airflow would only help your setup.

Also, the 2.4L mani from what I can understand would also help out should you decide to go Turbo in the future...
