2.4L vs 2.2L K&N Intake

I know that the two are interchangable but I was wondering if there is a difference if I were to use the 2.4L(part #KNN69-4517TTK ) intake for my 2.2L(part #KNN69-4515TS?) I like the 2.4L intake as its black but what throws me off is the difference power gains between the two. Will I lose power by using the 2.4L or should I just stick with the 2.2L intake?

Also reason for going with K&N is that I have SAI.

thanks

the angles of the engine on the 2.2 and 2.4 are different. they're probably the same size, just different bends to compensate for the different angles. If i can recall correctly, the K&N pipes are mandrel bent. Just go with the 2.2 intake

2.4 intake manifold is plastic aswell. Another thing i just thought of, it could be the size of the couplers for the throttle bodies is different.

2.4's don't have SAI so you need the 2.2 intake.

I would agree stay with the K&N 2.2 intake as it has the SAI hookup and was designed specifically for the 2.2L
