yes you need your maf. just cut the wires it's telling you to and plug them into the map. just put electrical tape over the wires from the engine harness that you cut them from. i'd get you a picture but i'm drinking and it's dark outside

ok so i keep the maf plugged in, and the iat2 wire spliced to the maf iat wire. do i connect it on the engine harness side, or just the maf connector side, or have a 3-way splice where i just connect the iat2 wire to the iat wire and have it still connected to the maf sensor? sorry for the noob questions but i think thats the part i mcfucked up.

Just follow the diagram. 2 of the maf sensor wires into the map and the rest are untouched. The wires thay you cut for the maf from the engine harness side are untouched. Just make sure maf is hooked to map

Yeah i figured it out and now the car runs great. thanks for the help guys. now i want moar powerz haha it was too much fun to drive compared to stock. i cant imagine how these dudes with 400+ feel. or even 300+ at that haha

When I rewired my map for the 2.5 bar I only took the IAT sensor signal wire from the MAF not the low reference. All the how to's I had read said just to take the sensor wire and it works fine for me.
