Rewiring for 2.4 TB
Rewiring for 2.4 TB
So I've studied the diagram that's floating around here somewhere for a while.
I bought a 6-8pin LE5 to LSJ harness from ZZP.
Aparrently the LE5 and L61 6pin's are the same.
So I'm trying to rewire it so that the 8-pin side will work to a 8-pin LE5 TB.
I plugged in the 6pin side to my car now, and matched up the colors from the car side to the harness side, 2 or 3 wire colors are different.
How would I do this?
The colors in the diagram arn't the same.

Best way would be to locate connector end view pinouts from GM, and match functions of wires, not just color. Iirc the difference is an extra 5v refference signal and return on the eight pin. Solder and heat shrink. Done... Pinout is a pita to find though without all data or something similar.
Did the harness end up working out for you? It came with my lsj TB adapter I bought from zzp, I used the adapter to use my stock 2.4 TB on my supercharger. So no need to use the harness, just needed to open it up to get the oring gasket.
