2006 pcm and bcm swap to 2007

Trying to find a solution to tuning the 06 2.2 other than trifecta or going stand alone. has anyone tried swapping the 07 pcm and bcm into the 06? Has it worked? Why/why not?

IIRC in 2007 the computer was not the only thing to change. Cam/Crank sensors/etc... all changed. You'd need to swap a 2007+ engine and electronics to make it happen. I may be wrong though.

My honest advice is to get into an ss/sc or ss/tc. What you're wanting to do just isn't worth all the time and money.
