2008 G5Pacesetter header??

Alright I bought a pacesetter Header which i was told on here was the same as the cobalt turns out thats a negative!!!! Does anybody know of a header for the '08 G5??????

Pacesetter does make a header for the 2.2 who told you it does not fit? Did you actually try it or are you just looking at it? Also whats the part number on the you you got and where did you get it?

it doesnt' matter if it is for the 2.2 they all share the same exhaust ports, flanges, hence why all the exhaust parts are interchangable from the models!

Now they are a midlength header, so it is going to look different than that stocker meaning it is quite a bit longer, you will need to have a custom downpipe made for it!

so i someone got the pacesetter header and the pacesetter exhaust... would they bolt up or would you still have to get the DP custom made?

You still need the downpipe, its what connects the header to the catback exhaust. The stock downpipe also has the catalyic converter built in

get the header installed and get a local muffler shop to do the rest.
