looking at the intakes for the ss/sc and looking at the intakes for the 2.2l im trying to figure out y a 2.0l intake wont work on a 2.2l i see the 2.ol one goes to the drivers side and the 2.2l to the pass side but other then that will it work...anyone tryed?

yea dumb ?, dont work, dont try it, forget about, buy the intake made for that motor

lol well it was worth a shot that damn MAF sucks with out that i could build a sweet CAI damn gm!

 

There is no reason to even think they are interchangeable.

However, if you are wanting to make your own, the MAF is no reason not to. Many people have made their own and still mounted the MAF successfully.

No point in getting a ss intake, why risk it? they make a intake for the motor you have

 

I am sure that you could make it fit, just might cost about 5 times the cost of the intake.
